Sugar pies (filled with strawberry jam)

PS: Make the edges wet with milk and place the two cookie parts on top of each other (with the jam in the middle), press them flat with a fork and bake with 2cm spacing.

Sugar kisses

PS: Bite size kisses. Serve when guests come over for a coffee or give as a gift in a mason jar.

Christmas tree cookie ball filled with caramel and chocolate coins

PS: Press out the round shapes and decorate with caramel and chocolate chips, place in a plastic globe.

Hundreds and thousands cookie jar

PS: Mix a part of the dough with hundreds and thousands and extra golden sugar. Roll in to balls and bake for 10 minutes.

Basic sugar cookie recipe

4 cups of flour

250 g of butter

3/4 cups sugar

2 eggs

25 ml bakingpowder

30 ml milk

5 ml bicarbonate of soda

2 ml salt

1. Mix together the butter and sugar till fluffy and white.

2. Then add the eggs one for one and mix well with a wooden spoon.

3. Dissolve the bicarbonate of soda in the milk and whisk in to the egg mixture.

4. Sift in the flour and the other dry ingredients. Leave the dough for 30min in the fridge.

5. When done roll the dough flat(4 mm) on a floured surface.

6. Press out your shapes with a heart shape cookie cutter or a round cookie cutter.

7. Sprinkle extra sugar over the top and bake for 10 minutes until golden brown.
